Spring at Newfields in Indianapolis was exactly what this engagement session needed. The sun was out, the flowers were blooming, and these two couldn’t stop making each other laugh. Honestly, it made my job way too easy.
We started in front of the Lily House, which has that perfect mix of historic charm and elegance without feeling stuffy. Then we wandered the garden paths, paused by some of the sculptures, and spent time in the rose garden. Every spot felt like it was made for photos and somehow they made it all look effortless.
Newfields is hands down one of the best spots in Indianapolis for engagement photos. Between the gardens, the paths, the Lily House, and the sculptures, you get variety without ever having to stage anything. It’s basically a playground for engagement photographers who like real moments over forced smiles.
By the end of the session we had photos that actually felt like them. Relaxed, joyful, a little silly, and totally in love. If you’re planning an engagement session in Indianapolis and want a location that makes your photos look natural and fun, Newfields is it.
