This engagement session took place around the Irvington neighborhood in Indianapolis Indiana and it was such a fun afternoon. The couple were easygoing and full of energy, which made everything feel natural. We just casually walked around their neighborhood and took photos wherever the light and backdrop caught my eye. I love doing sessions like this and I especially love shooting in new locations. I get bored going to the same places over and over.


Movement was key. That’s how real personalities show up in photos and these two brought it effortlessly. Their neighborhood made the session personal and relaxed, and it was clear how much it means to them.


I’m really happy with how these photos turned out. Simple, fun, and full of who they are.
